Zhengzhou Ocean is invited to attend the 32nd Academic Annual Conference and Product Exhibition of the Oil and Fat Branch of the China Cereals and Oils Association.

 

 

The 32nd Academic Annual Conference and Product Exhibition of the Oil and Fat Branch of the China Cereals and Oils Association with the theme “High Quality, High Efficiency, Innovative Development” will be held on November 14-15, 2023 at the International Conference Center of Haifang Island in Danzhou, Hainan. Chairman Li PuXuan of Zhengzhou Ocean Oil, along with the company’s senior leaders and experts, have been invited to attend.

The conference aims to unite and organize outstanding scientific and technological workers in the grain and oil industry, focusing on the new development stage. It will revolve around the layout of the 14th Five-Year Plan and key areas of scientific and technological development, concentrate on innovation elements, advance technical cooperation among technicians, scholars, and enterprises, promote the training and growth of oil and fat science and technology talents, drive technological innovation in the oil and fat industry, accelerate the establishment of a new development pattern in the oil and fat industry, and promote high-quality development in the oil and fat industry.

More than 300 industry experts, leaders, scholars, and business representatives gathered at the event, including Lu Jingbo, Chairman of the China Cereals and Oils Association; Zhang Guifeng, former Chairman of the China Cereals and Oils Association; Professor Wang Ruiyuan, Chief Engineer and Honorary Chairman of the Oil and Fat Branch of the China Cereals and Oils Association; He Zhaozhi, Deputy Director of the Hainan Provincial Grain and Material Reserve Bureau; Zhang Chengzhi, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China Cereals and Oils Association; Wei Ran, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Cereals and Oils Association; and He Dongping, President of the Oil and Fat Branch of the China Cereals and Oils Association and Professor at Wuhan Polytechnic University. They came together to exchange new ideas on oil and fat processing and discuss new technologies in the field.

The conference invited Academician Wu Qingping from the Chinese Academy of Engineering to present on “Construction of a Large Database for Health Functional Microbiology and Its Innovative Applications in Chronic Disease Prevention and Control.” Additionally, Wang Ruiyuan, Chief Expert of the Science and Technology Association of China and Honorary President of the Oil and Fat Branch, gave a report titled “Studying and Implementing the Spirit of the Central Rural Work Conference to Contribute to Ensuring National Food Security.” Pan Kun, Quality Control Director and Senior Engineer at Yihai Kerry Group, delivered a report on “Technological Innovation Leading the High-Quality Development of the Edible Oil Industry.”

The conference showcased cutting-edge technologies in the edible oil and fat field, including research results in areas such as the development of rosemary for chocolate fat resistant to temperature fluctuations, prospects for lipid oxidation resistance, and changes in microbial lipid quality and flavor formation mechanisms during refining processes, generating unprecedented interest. The event also featured presentations on new technologies, products, and applications in oil and fat processing.

The annual meeting not only facilitated academic exchanges in the oil and fat sector but also injected new vitality into the development of China’s grain and oil industry. It provided support for oil and fat enterprises to advance towards technological and branding development and played a positive role in promoting innovation, restructuring, and green development in China’s oil and fat industry.
