High-Phospholipid Oil Refining Line

Degumming

Maximize value from high-phospholipid crude oils with Ocean's specialized degumming and phospholipid recovery systems. Soybean and peanut oils are rich in natural phospholipidsnutritionally valuable emulsifiers containing essential phospholipids like phosphatidylcholine,phosphatidylinositol, and phosphatidylserine. With over 60% unsaturated fatty acids and rich in vitamins and trace elements, soybean phospholipids support cellular function, metabolic regulation, and overall nutrition. By integrating a dedicated degumming section into standard oil refining, these valuable phospholipids can be efficiently recovered as lecithin—a high-value by-product.

During the degumming stage of soybean oil refining, a by-product called soybean lecithin is separated through centrifugation. Leveraging its composition, Ocean’s production line can process this soybean lecithin to produce both food-grade and feed-grade products, significantly increasing the added value of the by-product. Raw Materials 

Ocean’s complete edible oil refinery machinery is capable of processing a wide range of common oils, including but not limited to soybean oil, rapeseed oil, cottonseed oil, sunflower oil, peanut oil, camellia oil, peony seed oil, rice bran oil, palm oil, avocado oil, shea butter oil, tallow, lard, UCO and POME.

For new or specialty oils with unique requirements, trials can be conducted using our pilot refining units. Ocean also maintains a dedicated laboratory at Henan University of Technology. We collaborate closely with the university’s research team to develop specialty oils and to extract active components from processing by-products, such as vitamin E and phytosterols.
