Our oilseed Pretreatment & Pressing Production Line is engineered for high-efficiency, continuous processing of various oilseeds including soybeans, rapeseed, and sunflower seeds. Our integrated system transforms raw seeds into high-quality crude oil and cake, preparing them perfectly for the next refining stage or direct use.


1. Weighing, Cleaning & Conditioning

Raw soybeans, rapeseed, or sunflower seeds are transported from temporary storage to a high-precision weigh scale. After weighing, they pass through a magnetic separator to remove ferrous impurities, then move to cleaning and destoning equipment. Our specially configured vibrating screen and destoner effectively remove foreign materials like stones, sand, stalks, and husks. The cleaned seeds are then elevated into the conditioning tower. Here, indirect steam heating through staggered elliptical tubes and hot air drying in angular boxes soften the seeds (discharge temp. ~70°C) and reduce moisture content (typically by ~2%). A frequency-controlled discharge ensures stable throughput.

2. Dehulling System

Conditioned soybeans are cracked into 4-6 pieces by a toothed roller crusher. The mixture enters a hot-air cyclone system where hulls are separated. Hulls are collected and further screened; coarse hulls are ground for meal blending or packaging, while fine fractions are recycled. Dehulled soybean meats proceed to flaking.







3. Flaking, Expansion & Cooling System

Dehulled meats (or conditioned rapeseed/sunflower seeds) are flaked by a hydraulically controlled flaking mill. The flaked material can then be directed to an expander (for higher oil yield and controlled urease activity in meal) or to a horizontal conditioner/dryer. Expanded material at 105-110°C is cooled to ~60°C and optimal moisture (~9.5%) before being conveyed to solvent extraction. For non-expanded routes, flakes are dried to 9-10% moisture and stored temporarily.









4. Meal Crushing System

Meal from the extraction plant is first crushed and then screened. Oversized particles are ground through a crusher with a Φ6mm sieve to achieve uniform, desired meal particle size.








5. Rapeseed & Sunflower Seed Pre-pressing System

Rapeseed and sunflower seeds bypass the crusher. After conditioning, they are directly flaked. The flakes are heated to 90-100°C and dried in a horizontal conditioner/expander. They are then distributed to multiple screw presses for pre-pressing. The resulting cake is cooled to 55-65°C before being sent for solvent extraction.








6. Crude Oil Treatment System

Crude oil from the pre-press contains significant impurities. It first passes through a scraped conveyor to remove large solids, then enters a settling tank for bulk impurity removal. Finally, it undergoes filtration to eliminate fine particles. For optimal filtration, a vacuum dehydration unit removes moisture from the crude oil prior to the filter, ensuring superior oil clarity and stability.

Advanced Drying & Flake Treatment Technology

We utilize horizontal dryers to remove moisture from soybean flakes, effectively replacing traditional vertical cookers. This approach is also applied to rapeseed flake conditioning, offering benefits such as energy savings, reduced footprint, and improved quality of pre-pressed crude oil. For meal processing, a horizontal rotary sifter is employed to screen soybean meal, effectively reducing fines content and enhancing product uniformity.

Our custom-designed conditioning tower features a rational heating and dewatering structure. This ensures uniform and thorough soybean heating while significantly reducing steam consumption. The conditioning temperature is easily adjustable for different raw material varieties, and a unique built-in humidification device provides exceptional flexibility when processing seeds with varying initial moisture content.
