Two precise processes for superior oil quality

Dewaxing

Targets natural waxes (fatty acid esters) in oils like rice bran, sunflower, and corn oil. Prevents unsightly cloudiness and sedimentation at cool temperatures, ensuring brilliant visual appeal and smooth texture.

Winterization / Fractionation

Separates high-melting triglycerides ("hard fats") from the oil matrix. This crucial step guarantees excellent cold-weather performance (preventing solidification) and enables the production of specialized fractions like liquid olein and solid stearin for tailored end-uses.

Key Processes of Oil Dewaxing Production Line


1.Controlled Cooling Crystallization

Pre-treated oil (typically degummed and neutralized) is fed into crystallization tanks. Under continuous, gentle agitation, it undergoes a programmed cooling process along a precisely controlled temperature curve. The oil is gradually cooled to a target temperature, usually within the range of 10–20°C (and for some oils, as low as 5°C). The slow cooling rate and sufficient residence time are critical, allowing waxes to form stable, uniformly-sized crystals that are ideal for efficient separation.

2.Crystal Maturation / Aging

Upon reaching the target temperature, the oil is held under agitation for a defined period (the “aging” time). This crucial step allows for Ostwald ripening, where smaller crystals dissolve and reprecipitate onto larger ones, further strengthening the crystal lattice and increasing particle size for maximum filtration efficiency.

3.Efficient Separation

Advanced filtration systems (e.g., filter presses, aided by filter media) or centrifuges cleanly separate the firm wax paste from the clear dewaxed oil.

4.Output

Brilliantly clear oil proceeds to final refining, while wax by-products are handled for maximum yield.
